Text description provided by the architects. Residential two-story wooden of Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture. The site is the flagpole site entrance from the road is narrow, the back is wide. Residential part is surrounded by the neighboring house is a three-way, but it faces the west side only beautiful green.
What do incorporate into the room this beautiful green, and is planning with an emphasis on ties between the room in this house. First floor, place a living on the west side tip good view most, I have placed the dining room, the mother followed. If you retract the sliding door between the room and mother dining, Space is continuous room living, dining, mother, to the east of the garden from the garden on the west side.
The atrium and the top of the living, by providing the opening of two layers, and then incorporate into the room more green. Place the study facing the atrium, second floor, I place a children's room and bedroom to the side.
Also to the second floor from the first floor, and through the atrium, study, bedroom, children's room is, space is continuous. There is no hallway, each room has led to slow as the entire house. I think it captures the beautiful green in the whole house, that it became home to the whole family, such as popular with ties around the living room.
